Permit Component - Redevelopment Areas

The permit program for activities related to areas of new development and significant redevelopment focuses on land development regulations, codes, and their implementation.

The 3rd Cycle permit required that during year 2 (2011-2012), Permittees review their entity's land development regulations and codes to see if any changes could be recommended to encourage the use of practices that would reduce the stormwater impact resulting from the proposed development or redevelopment. The formal review was to be documented and provided with the year 2 annual report form.

During permit year 4 (which began 10/1/2013) each Permittee must provide a follow-up report that documents what changes were made to the land development regulations and/or codes, based on the recommendations made during the Year 2 review. These should be completed by September 30, 2014 and will be submitted with the 4th year annual report.
