Permit Component - Structural Controls

Structural Controls and Stormwater Collection System Operation and maintenance is the first listed permit program requirement. The intent is for the Permittee to operate and maintain its MS4 in a manner that reduces the discharge of pollutants to the receiving water bodies.

The Cycle 4 permit annual reporting requires an annual accounting of all structural controls owned/maintained by the Permittee. It further specifies a schedule (in the table below) for the inspection and maintenance of each type of control.

For those interested, SAIC compiled a description of stormwater structural controls.
